Where? Ice flows off Nordauslandet, Svalbard
We watched 3 bears on the ice flows. The smallest had killed the seal, and had eaten fast, before the others arrived, attracted by the smell of blood. Polar Bears rarely fight. It costs too much energy.This is where it all started for me. I went to the Arctic to see for myself. A brutal and fragile environment, littered with plastic.
